Isabella is a Montreal-based vocalist performing at concerts, corporate events, weddings, fundraisers, festivals, restaurants, and lounges.
Jazz is the focus of Isabella’s musicianship, and she is a graduate of McGill University with a Bachelor of Jazz Performance. As band leader of a quartet and trio, she performs a curated repertoire of self-arranged tunes from the Great American Songbook, as well as originals.
Isabella seeks to share her passion with a broader audience. In 2024, she produced and released 3 Live Session Recordings. This led to her first tour in summer 2025, performing at renowned as well as emerging jazz festivals in Quebec & Ontario (i.e., International Montreal Jazz Festival, Festi Jazz Mont-Tremblant, Markham Jazz Fest, Toronto Undergraduate Jazz Fest, Sutton Jazz Fest, North Hatley Jazz). Isabella is currently working on her first jazz album, titled Isabella Hallia: A Formal Introduction, to be released June 2026.
Other career highlights include performing at only seventeen at Carnegie Hall and receiving the Jury’s Favorite Award of an International Competition (American Protégé), opening for Madeleine Peyroux at the 45th annual Montreal International Jazz Festival and The Umbria International Jazz Festival (Italy), as well as headlining at Montreal’s iconic jazz venue, Upstairs.
Isabella also teaches and mentors aspiring musicians of all ages.
